Work release resident Cropp fails to return in Waterloo

Waterloo, Iowa — Rondell Mandray Cropp failed to return to the Waterloo Residential Correctional Facility as required on September 29, 2026.
Cropp is serving time for Robbery 1st Degree in Black Hawk County, along with additional convictions for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Willful Injury.
Cropp is a 39-year-old, 5'8", 202-pound Black male. He was admitted to the work release facility on May 6, 2025.
The Iowa Department of Corrections is seeking assistance from the public in locating Cropp. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
